App Design

During my time at The Weather Network I had the chance to design apps for several different platforms. I designed for Blackberry, iPad, Rogers Home Security, Yahoo Connected TV, QNX In-Car Systems and a PC Desktop App.

PC Desktop App
Designed using HTML, CSS and JQuery. Worked with developers to connect to a JSON feed to retrieve data.

QNX InCar App
Designed using HTML, CSS and Javascript to allow the developers to connect to a JSON feed to retrieve data.

 

Yahoo Connected TV App
Layout designed in Photoshop and then all elements where placed on screen within the Yahoo Connected TV development platform. Development team then linked elements to a JSON feed.
